O’Neal, from Newark, New Jersey, caused a stir in 2018 when the listing of pictures of the 12-bedroom home was made public. The master bedroom, to begin with, had a round, built-in bed frame measuring no less than 15 feet in diameter and covered in linens bearing a Superman logo. Superman is one of O’Neal’s nicknames. There was also an aquarium built into a wall that was surrounded by a mural of O’Neal driving a red truck. The kitchen-diner had cabinetry and the kitchen island was painted in an aged pastel yellow.

In its 2021 redesign, the listing images showcase a master bedroom with a regular-shaped bed, with the space itself newly painted white for simple viewing. The aquarium was removed from the wall, although the mural remained. The kitchen, like the master bedroom, has received a coat of white paint.
Beyond the paint, cosmetic upgrades also included new landscaping.
The property sits on nearly four acres with views of Butler Lake and in the gated golf community of Isleworth. Inside, the new owner – whose identity is also unknown – will have a nearly 1,200-square-foot two-story large room with a marble fireplace and oversized windows. A formal dining room seats 16 and features wood paneling and moldings. Elsewhere, there’s a soundproofed home theater with a large screen for viewing, temperature-controlled storage for wine and cigars, a showroom-style garage that seats 17 cars, and an indoor basketball court. 6,000 square feet.
