Glitter Magazine | Starbucks invites us into our fall sensations with a new menu

Starbucks

It may still be August, but that doesn’t stop Starbucks from getting us in the fall mood; you know, the one where it gets dark early, every house is adorned with pumpkins, and you trade an outdoor picnic for a re-review of The corpse bride. Check out all the fun treats and drinks available to accompany you on your next apple picking trip.

Of course, it wouldn't be fall without the basic flavor of pumpkin. Starbucks has made sure to provide a wide variety to suit everyone's tastes. The first is the beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte. Available hot or iced, the latte features notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Blended with their signature espresso, the latte is perfect for mornings when fresh air just isn't enough to wake you up.

If you’re looking for something that isn’t quite as sweet but packs a punch, you can go for the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. It’s your typical Starbucks Cold Brew paired with vanilla syrup and topped with their slightly new Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam and pumpkin spice topping.

Look no further than the Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino for those looking for a sweet treat on their next day off. What Starbucks likes call the “ultimate fall care package” are your standard fall flavors mixed with ice and milk. It’s also topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice. Mouth watering?

Unfortunately, the Salted Caramel Mocha Latte and Frappuccino did not return after being cut from last year’s lineup.

Still, if you’re not in the pumpkin mood, there are other options. Last year Starbucks added the Apple Crisp Macchiato, and this year it’s back with a twist. The updated drink is made with oat milk rather than 2% or almond milk. Much like the PSL available hot or iced, the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato combines apple, cinnamon, oats, and brown sugar reminiscent of all the crunchy, juicy apples you’ll choose for your homemade apple pie this Thanksgiving.

You are in luck if you want to accompany your drinks with a snack with autumnal flavors. Starbucks has brought back its staple snacks, including pumpkin cream cheese muffin, pumpkin scone and owl cake.

It’s not the time to break out your favorite fluffy sweater yet, but get a head start and try Starbucks new fall menu available now.
